Welcome to Merrybears.

Teddy bears bring warmth to one's heart. No matter they look cheerful or sad, naughty or serious, they can always bring a smile to your face. So I call my bears MerryBears.

My name is Annei Leung. All the mohair bears shown is handmade by me personally. Unlike most artists, my interest in teddy bear did not start until 2001 when I made my first bear. Then like every bear artist said, I was addicted to it and cannot stop.

Some of my bears are made for special occasions and are unique. The same are shown in the Gallery of 'Adopted Bears'. Others in the 'New Artisit Bear' are available and made to order in a small limited edition, usually 10.

I like to explore new designs and do not want to confine myself to a particular style, at least not at this moment. During the creation, the most interesting part is that the bear himself/herself will tell you how he/she should look like. So sometimes the result is not predictable but is always delightful.

However, as an interior designer, my daily workload is heavy and thus the progress in teddy bear creation could not be fast.
